Art of the Spirits Cask Strength “Final Run” Straight Rye Whiskey finished in Madeira Casks
Art of the Spirits Cask Strength “Final Run” Straight Rye Whiskey is finished in a Madeira wine cask for 12 months. This limited-edition release showcases world renowned Artist, David Uhl, and his oil painting that is inspired by the Great Depression-era outlaws and lovers; Bonnie and Clyde. In the 1930’s, Bonnie Parker and Clyde Barrow captured the attention of Americans with their highly publicized (at the time) crime spree and ruthless ways. “Final Run” shows these outlaw lovers in a quiet moment prior to another heist.
Age: 7 years in a new 53-gallon American Oak barrel and finished 12 months in Madeira wine casks.
Mash bill: 95% rye and 5% malted barley
Tasting Notes: This rye has a deep oak and leather nose that compliments its dark gold shine. It has a molasses, cinnamon, vanilla, dark chocolate cherry palate that leads to a longer finish filled with vanilla and oak and cherry.
